When I first set up the TV a few days ago, I added it to my Google Home/Google Assistant no problem, and was able to control the TV using Google Home. I have my desktop running 24x7. I'm about to get a Roku Ultra (its in transit) and plan on using the USB to attach a drive that has my movie collection... so this question is important to me too..
